From the sidebar, click Projects. You'll see one card per active project with progress and the next milestone date. Switch to the list view for sort and filter controls.

Click Add Project. Pick the client, give the project a name, set start and end dates, and assign an owner. Save — the project lands on the board and gets its own detail page.

Open the project detail. Under Milestones, add the major deliverables with their due dates. Under Services, list the offerings you're billing for (used later when generating invoices).

From the project detail or the Tasks page, create tasks and set their Project field. Time logged on those tasks rolls up into the project's totals.

Click New Invoice on the project. The form pre-fills the client, milestones, and services so you can issue a bill in seconds.

Switch to the Social tab to connect a Facebook Page, Instagram Business, or LinkedIn Company Page for this project — used by the content planner to auto-publish.

Projects

From the sidebar, click Tasks. You'll see the board view by default — one column per status. Switch to list view with the toggle in the top-right to see filters, sort, and bulk actions.

Click Add Task in the top-right. Give it a name, an optional description, a project (so it rolls up correctly), a due date, and any assignees. Press Save — the task lands in the Todo column.

On a task card, click the avatar area to add or remove assignees. The first assignee you add receives an in-app notification immediately. Anyone listed can see the task in their personal queue.

Open the task detail. Use the Subtasks panel to break work into smaller items — each subtask inherits the parent's project and assignees by default. Use the Checklist for lightweight items that don't need their own status.

Drag the card between columns on the board, or change the status from the task detail. When a task moves to Done, time logged is summarized and the parent milestone progress updates automatically.

Click the timer icon on the task to start tracking. Stop it when you finish, or add manual entries from the Time tab inside the task. See the Time tracking topic for how this rolls up into payroll.

Click your avatar in the top bar → Notes. The list shows the most recently updated first.

Click New Note. Give it a title and write the body. Notes save as you type — no Save button needed.

Open the note → menu → Delete. Notes are permanently removed (no trash — they're personal).

From the sidebar click Pages. The tree on the left shows pages grouped by project and a Company section for unfiled pages.

Click New Page. Give it a title and pick whether it belongs to a project or stays at the company level. Start typing — the editor handles formatting via the toolbar or markdown shortcuts.

Drag images into the editor — they upload to S3 and embed inline. Use the / menu to insert tables, code blocks, dividers, and more.

Click Share to copy the in-app URL. Anyone with access to the project (or the company, for unfiled pages) can open the link.

Open the page menu → Archive. Archived pages are hidden from the tree but searchable and restorable from the Archive view.

From the sidebar click Links. Existing links are grouped by tag.

Click Add Link. Paste the URL, give it a name, and add tags (e.g., 'Design', 'Client X', 'Tooling'). Save.

Hover a link card → menu icon → Edit or Delete. Edits are visible to everyone immediately.

From the sidebar click Dataspaces. The list shows all dataspaces you can access.

Click New Dataspace. Give it a name and description, then add the columns you need (text, select with options, number, date, etc.).

Open the dataspace and click Add Row. Fill in the cells; required columns are marked. Rows save inline as you tab between cells.

Click a column header to sort. Use the filter bar above the table to narrow rows. Drag rows by their handle to reorder (sort must be off).

Dataspaces

From the sidebar, click Clients. The list shows name, primary contact, status, and total revenue. Use the search and tag filter at the top to narrow it down.

Click Add Client. Enter the company name, the primary contact's email and phone, billing address, and any tags. Save — the client is ready to attach to projects and invoices.

Open the client detail → Contacts tab → Add. Use this when the client has multiple stakeholders (project sponsor, accounts payable, day-to-day contact).

If the person came in through Leads, open the lead and click Convert. Their details pre-fill the client form so you don't retype.

On the client detail you'll find tabs for Projects, Invoices, Payments, Notes, and Documents — every interaction your team has had with them.

See everything in one place

Click the email icon next to a contact to open the composer with their address pre-filled. Templates from Settings → Email templates appear in the dropdown.

Clients

From the sidebar, click Leads. The Kanban-style board groups leads by status; switch to list view for filters and bulk actions.

Click Add Lead. Enter the company, primary contact, source (where they came from), and any tags. Save — the lead drops into the New column.

Drag the lead card across columns as the relationship progresses. Each status change is recorded with a timestamp so you can review pipeline velocity later.

On the lead detail, click New Estimation. Add line items, taxes, and validity period — then download as PDF or email directly to the contact.

When the deal closes, click Convert on the lead. All contact info, tags, and the estimation transfer to a new client; the lead is marked Won and archived.

Click the Lost button and pick a reason. Lost leads stay searchable so you can re-engage later — they're just hidden from the default board.

From the Leads page click into the lead you're quoting.

Click New Estimation. Add line items with quantity, rate, and tax. The total updates live.

Create an estimation

Enter how many days the estimation is valid for and any terms (deposit %, deliverables, exclusions). These appear on the PDF.

Download as PDF or email the contact directly — the email uses the Estimation email template.

Send it

When the lead accepts and converts to a client, the estimation acts as a template — generate a real invoice from it without retyping.

Estimations

From the Invoices page click Add Invoice, or from a project click New Invoice. Pick the client and the project — milestones and services pre-fill from the project.

Edit each line's quantity, rate, and tax. The total and tax breakdown update live in the summary panel. Save as draft if you want a colleague to review first.

Click Send. The client gets an email with a PDF attached and the invoice flips from Draft to Invoiced. Invoice number is auto-assigned and gap-free for tax compliance.

On the invoice detail click Record Payment. Enter the amount, the date received, and the pay account it landed in. The pay account balance bumps; outstanding goes down.

Record a part payment

When cumulative payments equal the invoice total, status flips to Paid automatically — no manual toggle needed. Editing or deleting a payment flips it back to Invoiced if it goes underpaid.

Cancel an invoice to keep it in the audit trail. Delete is only allowed when an invoice is the highest-numbered for its billing account AND has no recorded payments — this keeps numbering consecutive for tax reports.

Invoices

From the sidebar, click Expenses. The list shows date, vendor, amount, project, and status. Use the date range and status filter at the top to narrow down.

Click Add Expense. Pick the vendor, set the date, amount, and tax. Choose a project if it's billable to a client, and a pay account if you've already paid it. Save.

Record a one-off expense

Drag a PDF, JPG, or PNG into the Media section. Receipts are uploaded to S3 and linked to the expense — useful at tax time.

Open any expense and click Make Recurring. Pick the frequency (weekly, monthly, quarterly, etc.). The system generates a new expense record before each due date so it appears on the dashboard in time to pay it.

Edit the expense, set Status to Paid, and choose the pay account the money came from. The pay account's balance drops by the expense total.

Mark as paid

Editing the pay account on a paid expense automatically reverses the old debit and applies a new one — balances stay correct. Setting status back to Pending also restores the balance.

Expenses

From the Expenses page, open an expense → Make Recurring. Pick the frequency (Weekly, Bi-weekly, Fifteen days, Monthly, Two months, Quarterly, Half-yearly, Yearly).

The system shows when the next expense will be generated. Edit it if the first generation should happen sooner or later than the default.

Confirm the next run date

Generated expenses appear on the regular Expenses page with status PENDING. Pay them like any other expense.

Open the source expense → Recurring section → Pause. Paused rules don't generate new expenses; resume anytime.

Pause or stop a recurrence

Edit the source expense to change amount, vendor, or project for future generations. Past generated expenses stay as they were.

From the sidebar click Pay accounts. Each card shows the account name, type, and current balance.

Open Pay accounts

Click Add Account. Give it a name (e.g., 'HDFC current', 'Stripe USD', 'Petty cash'), pick the type, and set the opening balance. Save.

When the real-world balance drifts (bank fee, rounding, manual correction), open the account → Adjust. Enter the amount, direction (credit/debit), and a reason. The change is logged in the activity feed.

Open any account → Activity tab. You see every credit and debit with the source (invoice payment, expense, adjustment), running balance, and timestamps.

Not yet first-class — record a debit on the source account and a credit on the destination, both with matching reasons, until transfer support ships.

Pay accounts

From the sidebar click Team → Add Employee. Enter their name, email, role (Admin / Employee / Client), and pick an access group. They get an email with a link to set their password.

Invite a teammate

Settings → Access groups. Create groups like 'Project manager', 'Designer', 'Accountant' — each with the permission toggles your team needs. Reuse a group across many users.

Open the employee detail → HR tab. Enter joining date, salary, payroll cycle, leave allowance, and bank details. Salary changes are version-tracked so payroll always uses the right rate for each month.

Employees clock in from the Attendance widget on their dashboard. Admins can also add or correct entries manually from the employee detail.

Record attendance

Payrolls auto-generate on the 1st of each month for the previous month. Open Payroll, review the line items per employee (base + bonuses − deductions − tax), and mark each as paid when transferred.

Run payroll

On the employee detail click Deactivate. Their account stops being able to log in but historical tasks, time logs, and payroll records are preserved.

Deactivate a teammate

Team

Open a task and click the play icon, or use the global timer in the top bar to pick a task. The timer keeps running across page reloads and shows in the top bar wherever you go.

Click stop on the same task or in the top bar. The entry is saved with the start time, end time, and elapsed duration. You can add a note describing what you worked on.

On a task, open the Time tab → Add Entry. Pick the date, start and end times, and optional note. Useful when you forgot to start the timer.

From the sidebar click Time → My timesheet for your own log. Admins see Team timesheet to view everyone's logs grouped by project, day, or person.

On any timesheet view click Export — you'll get a CSV with date, user, project, task, hours, and notes. Drop it into payroll or invoicing tools downstream.

Time tracking

On the 1st of every month at 00:00 IST a cron generates payrolls for the previous month for every active employee. You don't trigger this manually.

Auto-generation

From the sidebar click Payroll. The list shows one row per employee for the current pay period with base, bonuses, deductions, and net amount.

Review the run

Click into an employee's payslip → Add Bonus or Add Deduction. Provide a name, amount, and optional note. The net amount updates live.

When the transfer goes out, click Mark as Paid and pick the pay account the money came from. The pay account's balance drops by the net amount.

Click Email Payslip — the employee gets a PDF copy at the email on their HR record.

Payroll

Click the chat icon in the top bar. Use New chat to DM a single teammate or New group for multiple.

Drag a PDF, document, or image into the message box. Non-AI groups upload to S3; AI groups extract text inline (up to 60k characters per file) so the AI can answer questions about it.

Drop files into the conversation

When creating a group, toggle 'AI assistant' and pick a role (Senior accountant, Marketing director, etc.). The AI replies in-thread as that persona using the company's stored AI prompt.

Chat

From the sidebar click Content. The calendar view shows your month at a glance. Filter by project, series, or platform at the top.

Open the content planner

Click Add Plan (or click an empty calendar day). Fill in the title, caption, target platforms (postOn), optional series, and a target post date. Save.

Drag images or videos into the Media section. Files upload to S3 and are stored on the item for later publishing or for designers to reference.

Attach media

Click Generate AI to spin up a batch of content ideas based on the project's brand voice and the series you pick. Each generated item lands as an Idea you can review and approve.

Switch to board view. Drag a card from Idea → Approved when ready, then from Approved → Scheduled when you've set a post date. Status dots on the card show per-platform publish state.
